Dumont is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the HollyShorts Film Festival, one of MovieMaker Magazine’s top 25 Festival’s Worth the Entry Fee. Now in its eight year, the L.A.-based festival has evolved into the largest short film festival in Hollywood, showcasing over 341 short form projects in 2011 and has featured the participation of stars and filmmakers include James Caan, David Arquette, Jessica Biel, Josh Brolin, Paul Haggis, Eli Roth, David Lynch, Demi Moore and Kirsten Dunst.
Dumont began as Manager of Public Relations/Corporate Communications with responsibility for a variety PR writing initiatives for MGM divisions including United Artists, MGM HD, MGM Consumer Products, MGM Worldwide Digital Media, MGM Theatrical Distribution, MGM Worldwide Television Distribution, and MGM Networks. Promoted to Director of PR in April 2008, with added responsibility for working with talent agencies on key theatrical press releases. Took lead on managing press campaigns, became point person on key events, and managed company’s external press site and internal employee press site.
